Sakonnet Yacht Club - Sakonnet Point - Little Compton, Rhode Island

	The Member sponsoring the applicant will contact the Sakonnet Yacht Club Membership Committee Chair - Anne Simon
	The Membership Committee will gather contact information from the Member Sponsoring the Applicant.
	The Membership Committee will make verbal contact with the proposed Applicant.
	The Membership Committee will send via mail or email the SAKONNET YACHT CLUB application form.
	The proposed member will complete the form and return it to Membership Chair.
	The Membership Chair will ensure the application is complete and accurate.

The Committee will approve or deny the applicant

· If Approved:

¨ The Membership Committee will notify the Treasurer of the Dues and Fees associated with the Applicant along with a copy of the application.

¨ The Treasurer will send an invoice to the applicant via mail or email.

· If Denied:

¨ The Membership Chair will notify the Applicant in writing and copy said writing to the Commodore.

	The Applicant will pay all dues and fees required under the Club Bylaws.
	Upon receiving all dues and fees the Club will mail the current copy of the Club Directory to the Member
